Help your child develop an understanding that everything around us is made up of different parts and systems that interact and work together, from the human body to the environment to the technology we use to the teamwork it takes to make our communities better. By the end of this course’s 15 lessons, your child will have learned about the many things that make up a community and their unique place in it.

Introduce your child to the many ways that animals depend on other animals, plants, and their environment for the things they need to live. In this lesson, your child will learn about some of the “elemental” differences between living and nonliving things.
Help your child head in the “write” direction with this engaging lesson on how letters and letter sounds work together to make words and how words work together to make sentences, stories, and songs. Your child will also learn about end punctuation and why it’s important, period!

Strengthen your child’s learning habits by exploring how things like healthy foods, getting enough sleep, and exercising are important ways to keep our bodies healthy. Your child will also learn that living a healthy life involves having and keeping healthy routines!
Move to the beat with your child and dance your way into learning! This lesson explores dance as a fun, effective way to exercise and introduces rhythm as a pattern of sound. Your child will discover that dance is not only fun but can be used to express many emotions.
Engage your child’s problem-solving skills as you explore this lesson on inventors together. Your child will learn that an inventor is a person who takes an idea and creates something new and that an invention is a new idea or thing that often makes life easier.
Take your child on a journey of learning all about maps! In this lesson, your child will discover that maps tell us where things are located and that they also help us solve problems because they show us how to get from one place to another.
Teach your child that tools and technology can be used to help us solve problems and that examples of technology can be found everywhere, even at home. Your child will also learn about tools and how they’re used to help make things work around us.
Engage your child as a “junior investigator” as you teach them that noticing clues is a method for finding possible solutions to a problem. In this lesson, your child will discover that exploring different ideas or ways of doing things is another way to solve problems.
Help your child learn that when people cooperate and work together, they can often reach a common goal. This engaging lesson introduces the concept of community workers and how teamwork, or working together, can improve our communities and make them better.
Every-body can agree that being human is an amazing thing! In this lesson, your child will discover that the human body is made up of different parts and systems that work together. Your child will also learn that bones and muscles are part of the musculoskeletal system, which helps us move!
