Our Homeschool+ Advisors are here to help you on your homeschool journey. With years of homeschooling experience under their belts, there’s a good chance they’ve encountered some of the same joys and struggles as you. We’re sharing their best tips and advice on a variety of homeschool topics. Check back regularly as we continue adding to this list!

Get to Know the Homeschool+ Advisors

Brandi is a former public school teacher turned home educator who has been blogging about homeschooling for years. She has experience teaching preschool through high school and believes that learning should be fun and engaging.

Chanty is a kindergarten teacher turned content creator and curriculum designer who spent several years homeschooling her daughter. She loves finding fun and creative ways to introduce young people to concepts.

Vida is a second-generation homeschooler who strongly believes in a parent’s right and ability to teach their own children. She’s a well-known writing instructor and consultant in the homeschooling space.

Amy is a home educator of five boys. She has a history of working as a mental health therapist and believes in positively making life and learning fun. She runs her own blog and has a large following of homeschoolers, educators, and librarians.

Latonya is a licensed teacher who has been homeschooling her own two girls for more than a decade. She believes in finding joy in all of life and enjoys helping others do the same through her blogs, books, and other content.

Monica is an author, freelance education writer, and homeschooling mom. Her site, MommyMaestra.com, helps Hispanic parents get more involved in their children’s education by providing resources, downloads, tips, and opportunities. Her education articles have appeared in numerous online sites such as NBCNews, latinamom.me, and PBSParents.

Cynthia is a home educator who oversees the homeschool academy at her school, helping parents figure out that perfect mix of at-home and at-school learning. She’s been an educational therapist since 2002 and an assistant principal since 2018.

Jenn has been an elementary school teacher for nearly 20 years. She’s currently working to help coordinate the hybrid homeschool program at her school and loves helping families navigate curriculum and resources.

Donna has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree as a reading specialist. She’s been homeschooling 30+ years with her own seven children and has created numerous curriculum and books for the homeschool community.
